The Backstory
Back when the owner, Bryon Kaan, was younger, he found intrigue in a gem he had found in his house. It was a jade stone that had words engraved into it and at that time, he had yet to learn of the existence of gemstones and this was the spark.
Over the years, Bryon has collected gemstones from all over the world to add to his collection, gemstones from countries such as Australia or Japan.
The Company
The name "Gem In The Rough" comes from the phrase "Diamond in the rough", which is used an an analogy to represent great potential but is rough and polished.
The name is used as a reference to the gems that are refined here and that the gems and sold here are of the highest quality. As such, the website is aimed at selling refined products or services to those who have an interest in gems and crystals!

At Gem In The Rough, we offer a wide array of services such as selling of Gems and Crystals, or even refining services for our customer's gemstones. When an order has been placed for a refined Gem or Crystal, it will be delivered within 5-7 days, depending on your country location.
